INSTRUCTOR CROSSOVER
This course is designed to crossover an Instructor in good standing from a recognized training agency allowing them to become a RAID Instructor.
Prerequisites For Instructors
A candidate taking this course must:
- Be certified as an Instructor with an approved agency.
- Must have no outstanding quality assurance investigations or violations (within the last 12 months).
- Have Nitrox, Deep 40, First Aid and Oxygen Provider Instructor certifications or equivalent.
- If the candidate does NOT possess these Instructor certifications, he must have Deep 40 diver, Nitrox diver and First aid and Oxygen user certificates.
- Before earning a Crossover Instructor certification, the candidate must be certified as a Deep 40 Instructor, Nitrox Instructor, First Aid Instructor and Oxygen Administration Instructor.
- In this case the Instructor Specialty course/s can be held, before, during or after completion of the Crossover Instructor course.
- The additional time required to complete these courses will be added to the Crossover course time requirements.
- Submit valid equivalent Instructor and Specialty Instructor certifications.
- Submit a valid Medical Statement signed by a licensed medical practitioner within the past 12 months.
- Submit a copy of diving Instructor liability insurance, where applicable.

To get started, all you need to do is register with RAID and create an online profile by clicking here. Once registered, you can purchase the course online in our “Store”, and then start reading the manuals and complete the quiz and exam. Once registered, you will have immediate access to RAID’s unique FREe-Learning platform, where you can download your course and start your academic training immediately. FREe-Learning allows you to download the manuals and complete all the associated quizzes. Once you have done this, you will need to contact your local RAID Dive Center to schedule your course and let them guide you through the training process. Once you have agreed all associated fees, your dive center will open the full training program so that you can complete any exams, have all your skills signed off, and receive your electronic certification card. Your RAID online course includes all your training materials, which you can access for life. Upon completion, your internationally recognized electronic certification will be issued.
