NORMOXIC TRIMIX REBREATHER INSTRUCTOR COURSE

This course is designed to safely train Instructors to teach and certify RAID Normoxic Trimix Rebreather divers to plan and conduct decompression dives to a maximum depth of 60 metres / 200 feet using a using a trimix diluent with a minimum of 16% oxygen on a specific CCR.

Prerequisites For Normoxic Trimix Rebreather Instructor Course

Minimum 21 years old.
Certified and in status as a RAID Limited Trimix Instructor for a minimum of 12 months.
RAID Deco 60 Instructor for a minimum of 12 months.
Minimum of 15 students, Rebreather Diver, Decompression Diver, Limited Trimix Diver or Open Circuit Deco 60.
Must own the CCR been trained on.
Logged a minimum of 25 dives in excess of 45 meters / 145 feet using trimix with the rebreather to be used during this program.
Certified and current RAID First Aid and Oxygen Provider Instructor or equivalent.
Submit a dive medical passed by a certified diving physician.
Submit proof of liability insurance where applicable.
If the unit is a RAID approved sidemount CCR then the diver must hold the RAID sidemount instructor or equivalent certification.
Must be approved by the CCR factory before enrolled on the instructor course.

To get started, all you need to do is register with RAID and create an online profile by clicking here. Once registered, you can purchase the course online in our “Store”, and then start reading the manuals and complete the quiz and exam. Once registered, you will have immediate access to RAID’s unique FREe-Learning platform, where you can download your course and start your academic training immediately. FREe-Learning allows you to download the manuals and complete all the associated quizzes. Once you have done this, you will need to contact your local RAID Dive Center to schedule your course and let them guide you through the training process. Once you have agreed all associated fees, your dive center will open the full training program so that you can complete any exams, have all your skills signed off, and receive your electronic certification card. Your RAID online course includes all your training materials, which you can access for life. Upon completion, your internationally recognized electronic certification will be issued.
