Certification

The Open Water 20 certification entitles the holder to dive with a certified dive buddy to a maximum depth of 20 meters/66 feet in conditions similar or better than those experienced during training.

Ages 10 -11

Cadet Scuba Diver

The Cadet Open Water course is an exciting introduction to scuba diving for 10 and 11-year-olds, allowing them to safely explore the underwater world while limited to a maximum depth of 12 meters / 40 feet. This course is perfect for young adventurers, helping them build confidence, learn essential diving skills, and foster a love for marine life in a fun and safe environment. The Cadet Open Water certification entitles the holder to dive with a certified adult dive buddy of equal or better certification to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.

Ages 12-15

Junior Scuba Diver

The Junior Open Water Diver course is a fantastic opportunity for 12 to 15-year-olds to build confidence and gain new skills while exploring the underwater world! This age is perfect for adventure, and diving not only encourages teamwork and responsibility but also sparks a lifelong love for marine conservation. Certification

The Junior Open Water certification entitles the holder to dive with a certified adult dive buddy of equal or higher certification to a maximum depth of 18 meters / 60 feet.

To get started, all you need to do is register with RAID and create an online profile by clicking here. Once registered, you can purchase the course online in our “Store”, and then start reading the manuals and complete the quiz and exam. Once registered, you will have immediate access to RAID’s unique FREe-Learning platform, where you can download your course and start your academic training immediately. FREe-Learning allows you to download the manuals and complete all the associated quizzes. Once you have done this, you will need to contact your local RAID Dive Center to schedule your course and let them guide you through the training process. Once you have agreed all associated fees, your dive center will open the full training program so that you can complete any exams, have all your skills signed off, and receive your electronic certification card. Your RAID online course includes all your training materials, which you can access for life. Upon completion, your internationally recognized electronic certification will be issued.
